Governance Shield
Is our reputation protected at board level?
What it is
A board-level view of the governance factors that protect or expose the brand's reputation.
Built on the WCRC 50-parameter model · parameters used
- P4.4Governance transparency
- P4.5Employee wellbeing
- P4.6Supply chain ethics
- P4.8ESG ratings
- P5.10Stakeholder confidence
Components
- Transparency
- People
- Supply ethics
- Ratings
- Stakeholder confidence
How it is scored
Shield rating = lowest component score (a shield is only as strong as its weakest plate), shown beside the mean.
Where and when to apply
- IPO or fund-raising preparation
- Board and independent-director reviews
- After a governance or supply-chain controversy
Simulation · what-if
The shield equals its weakest plate. If supply chain ethics is weakest at 62 and the next weakest plate is 68, raising ethics by 5 points lifts the shield by the full 5; above 68 the next plate becomes the limit.
Indicative, all else unchanged. Your actual reading comes from a WCRC assessment.
