What WCRC found
Deep cultural relevance after transforming India's mobile data market since its 2016 launch.
Strong, consistent network quality and reliability delivered to more than 524 million subscribers.
Clear positioning as an enabler of affordable digital life, from data to devices such as the INR 999 Jio Bharat phone.
What holds it back: Governance is family-controlled with limited transparency, and evidence on sustainability communication and after-sales service is thin.
