Levi's

Levi's is an American denim brand founded in San Francisco in 1853 by Levi Strauss and owned by Levi Strauss & Co., which sells in about 120 countries through roughly 3,300 company-operated stores, levi.com and retail partners. The company reported FY2025 revenue of US$6.28bn and net income of US$578m, and in February 2026 sold Dockers to focus on the Levi's brand. Fitch upgraded it to investment grade, BBB-, in 2025. WCRC's research found the brand strongest in media presence and cultural relevance, boosted by the Beyoncé REIIMAGINE campaign and its 2026 World Cup 'covered logo' moment, and in healthy consumer demand, with Levi's brand organic growth of 4% in the third quarter of fiscal 2026.

What WCRC found

  1. Strong cultural relevance, renewed by the Beyoncé REIIMAGINE campaign and the 2026 World Cup 'covered logo' campaign.

  2. Healthy consumer demand, with Levi's brand organic growth of 4% in the third quarter of fiscal 2026.

  3. Direct-to-consumer channels make up 45% of revenue, through levi.com and about 3,300 company-operated stores.

What holds it back: Its industry standing trails its heritage, and the company missed key 2025 sustainability goals on emissions and water while its supply-chain emissions remain far off target.
