Gucci

Gucci is an Italian luxury fashion house, founded in Florence in 1921 and owned by the luxury group Kering. It operates 635 stores worldwide, and its horsebit loafer entered the permanent collection of New York's Museum of Modern Art in 1985. Gucci's revenue was EUR7.65bn in 2024 and fell 22% to EUR5.99bn in 2025, prompting a turnaround led by new creative direction under Demna and new Kering chief executive Luca de Meo. WCRC's research found its greatest strengths in one of the most recognised visual identities in luxury, built on the GG monogram and horsebit, very high global recall and a rich in-store and packaging experience.
