WCRC · Editorial standards
Evidence, attribution and corrections.
Our standard for the stories, analysis and research explanations published by WCRC.
Who is responsible
World Centre for Research & Consulting (WCRC) publishes this website. Articles identify their author or organisational editorial byline. The WCRC byline denotes organisational analysis; it does not claim an individual conducted an interview or witnessed an event. Abhimanyu Ghosh, Chairman, WCRC, is the main author of WCRC 1000 and World’s Most Powerful 100 Brands.
Reporting and analysis
Factual claims should be supported by identifiable sources. We distinguish reported facts, statements attributed to a source and WCRC’s interpretation. Secondary evidence and company disclosures should be described as such. A research model’s score is an assessment under that model, not a public opinion poll or an independently audited financial valuation unless expressly supported.
Review and assistance
Editorial approval is required before new articles are published. Where tools assist research, drafting or image preparation, the same sourcing, accuracy and approval standards apply. We do not invent interviews, quotations, expert consensus or first-hand reporting. Illustrations must not be presented as documentary photographs.
Dates and updates
Article pages show their publication date and, where relevant, an update date. A presentation change does not turn an old event into new news. Substantive corrections should explain what changed; original publication dates remain part of the record.
Corrections and right of reply
Email consulting@wcrcint.com with the article URL, the disputed statement and supporting evidence. Correction requests should be assessed against the evidence. A material error should be corrected with an appropriate note. Requests for comment or reply should identify the relevant story and the response sought. We make no promised response deadline here.
Commercial relationships and research independence
Advertising, sponsored material and material commercial conflicts should be clearly identified. Qualification, ranking and standing are independent of payment, event attendance or commercial services. Editorial coverage does not confer qualification in another WCRC property. Read the research independence policy and the method for the specific edition.
Images and reuse
Use only original, supplied or appropriately licensed assets. Brand names in reporting identify their subjects and do not establish endorsement. See the 2026 ranking’s citation and reuse terms for research extracts and WCRC marks.
