What to review
Check the official domain, contact information, programme rules and identity on formal documentation. Verify a claimed partnership through an appropriate primary record.
A practical example
An event held in a prestigious building is not automatically endorsed by that building's owner or by a public authority. The nature of any relationship must be stated accurately.
Keep the claim in scope
Keep organiser, venue, sponsor and research partner roles separate when describing a recognition programme.
Research and editorial context
An award claim needs the programme name, assessed entity, category and edition. Read the recognition process with the result. WCRC separates research qualification from optional commercial participation; communications and attendance cannot create or alter a research outcome.
Examples illustrate a decision and do not describe a named organisation's conduct. This is a reference note, not a new research finding or an award outcome.
