Every rule that decides a rank is published, with its section reference in the master methodology (v1.3). Nothing about a company's participation, payment or relationship with WCRC affects its position.
In one screen
A company's rank is its average full equity market capitalisation between 1 July and 31 December 2025, taken as the mean of its NSE and BSE averages where both exchanges pass the trading-frequency screen. Nothing else enters the calculation — no score, no survey, no opinion and no commercial relationship.
What is measured
One number decides a rank: the average full equity market capitalisation over the measurement period.

It is not the official exchange or SEBI list and does not determine any company's regulatory obligations. Full market capitalisation includes promoter and government holdings; parent and listed subsidiaries are ranked separately. Values relate to the stated period only.
