Ranked by equity market capitalisation.
Every rule that decides a rank is published, with its section reference in the master methodology (v1.3). Nothing about a company's participation, payment or relationship with WCRC affects its position.
A company's rank is its average full equity market capitalisation between 1 July and 31 December 2025, taken as the mean of its NSE and BSE averages where both exchanges pass the trading-frequency screen. Nothing else enters the calculation — no score, no survey, no opinion and no commercial relationship.
One number decides a rank: the average full equity market capitalisation over the measurement period.
Who is in, who is out, and how parents and subsidiaries are treated.
The window, why it matches the regulatory basis, and how two exchanges become one number.
A market-cap ranking is only as credible as the prices behind it. Six screens run before any company is ranked.
What is applied in this first edition, what is pending, and where the source values come from.
Tie-breaks, the validation band, the measures that are published but do not rank, and what the ranking cannot tell you.
Every company in AMFI's list that is not in the WCRC 1000, with the rule that produced the decision.
Oversight, independence, conflicts, assurance and how complaints are handled.
WCRC 1000 – India's Most Valuable Enterprises™ ranks eligible India-incorporated NSE/BSE main-board companies by average full ordinary-equity market capitalisation over 1 July – 31 December 2025 (the mean of NSE and BSE averages; Inaugural Edition source values from AMFI's half-yearly list, with WCRC eligibility and price-integrity rules applied). It is not the official exchange or SEBI list and does not determine any company's regulatory obligations. Full market capitalisation includes promoter and government holdings; parent and listed subsidiaries are ranked separately. Values relate to the stated period only. No company can pay for inclusion or rank. Nothing on this site is investment advice, a recommendation or a forecast. Inaugural Edition — pre-assurance.
