How the Power Score adds up
Each pillar's score multiplied by its WCRC weight. The segments sum to 74.36.
ServiceNow is powerful in a way that rarely shows up in shop windows. Inside large organisations it is the system that routes IT requests, HR cases, customer service tickets and security incidents, and in 2026 it is selling itself as the AI platform that lets software agents do that work. Digital Innovation & Technology Adoption scores 90, its highest parameter, and Future Readiness & Strategic Relevance 88: ServiceNow sits at the centre of the shift to agentic AI in the enterprise. Product, Innovation & Delivery is its strongest WCRC pillar at 79.2, the 34th best result for that pillar in the top 100.
The platform model is what makes the brand sticky. Everything runs on one cloud-delivered system, so Technology & Digitalisation of Delivery scores 88 and Product Portfolio Strength & Logic 86. Once a company runs its workflows on ServiceNow, it tends to add more: 603 customers now pay more than US$5m a year, up 20%, and subscriptions make up 97% of revenue. That is why Consumer Loyalty & Retention Proxy reaches 86 and Brand Extension Credibility 84, as the brand has stretched from IT service management into HR, customer service, security and CRM.
The numbers back the story. Revenue rose 21% to US$13.3bn in 2025, GAAP net income was US$1.75bn and the board authorised another US$5bn of share buybacks. Moody's upgraded ServiceNow to A2 with a positive outlook in 2025, so Financial Stability Indicator scores 88. Its limits are those of a business-to-business brand: Brand Positioning & Recall is only 75.8, and data-centre hardware with no published circularity data leaves Circular Economy & Waste Reduction at 60.
Why ServiceNow ranks #78
ServiceNow's power comes from its central place in enterprise AI, delivering everything through a single cloud platform, and building a strategy around where business software is heading. Product, Innovation & Delivery, at 79.2, is its strongest WCRC pillar.
5.06Digital Innovation & Technology Adoption90
Digital Innovation & Technology Adoption: ServiceNow has rebuilt its platform around AI agents that resolve requests across IT, HR and customer service. It is the brand's top score, at 90.
3.08Technology & Digitalisation of Delivery88
Technology & Digitalisation of Delivery: the entire product is delivered from the cloud on one platform, with subscriptions making up 97% of 2025 revenue. It scores 88.
3.10Future Readiness & Strategic Relevance88
Future Readiness & Strategic Relevance: an AI-centred strategy in enterprise workflow, backed by revenue growth of 21% in 2025, places ServiceNow where corporate software spending is moving. It scores 88.
The Achilles' heel
4.09Circular Economy & Waste Reduction60
Circular Economy & Waste Reduction scores 60, ServiceNow's lowest, tied with Packaging & Sensory Brand Experience. As a cloud business it runs on data-centre hardware, but it publishes no data WCRC could verify on equipment reuse, recycling or waste.
What would move it: Reporting on hardware life-cycle, reuse and e-waste alongside its renewable electricity and emissions data would complete a sustainability record that is otherwise solid.
The 2026 story
ServiceNow had a strong 2025. Revenue rose 20.9% to US$13.28bn, subscription revenue reached US$12.9bn and GAAP net income was US$1.75bn. The number of customers paying more than US$5m a year grew 20% to 603, and the board authorised an additional US$5bn for share repurchases.
Its pitch for 2026 is agentic AI: software agents that can complete workflows across IT, HR, customer service and security on a single platform. Moody's upgraded ServiceNow to A2 with a positive outlook in 2025, and the company has used 100% renewable electricity since 2021, with approved near-term science-based targets and a net zero goal for 2030.
The risks are competition and governance. Every major enterprise software company is chasing the same AI opportunity, and buyers may consolidate on fewer platforms. In 2024 ServiceNow's president resigned after a breach of internal hiring policy; the company called it isolated and no government penalty was reported, but it remains the main mark on an otherwise clean governance record.
